Your Presenters:

James Walker BA MEd. PhD FACE

James WalkerJames has spent most of his life studying the relationship between mind, body and spirit, as a researcher, teacher and healer. He has worked with people of all ages, in many countries and cultures.

His PhD, from Sydney University, where he was a University Medalist, is in Philosophy of Science. He also has qualifications in Education, Communication, Organisational Learning, Kinesiology and Hypnotherapy.

His research on integration of research and teaching methodologies has received international recognition.

Director of the Synchronicity Institute, James also has a private practice as coach, mentor and educator. His extensive academic career included appointments at Boston, Canberra, Colorado, Harvard, London, Monash, Newcastle, Sydney, Toronto and Western Sydney Universities.

Marianne Dodds BA Psych, GDipCR, DCH

Marianne Dodds Marianne is a holistic and registered psychologist with further qualifications in Conflict Resolution, Kinesiology and Clinical Hypnotherapy. She runs a busy private practice with a diverse range of clients of all ages.

Always keenly interested in the mindbody- spirit connection, Marianne worked holistically in collaboration with a medical doctor, as co-director of the National Institute of Educational Studies, providing holistic treatment programs to children and adults with learning and behavioural difficulties.

Marianne also founded and directed HELP, a privately funded project providing treatment protocols for disadvantaged children and families. She has run courses in communication and interpersonal relationships and written “positive psychology” modules for a leading Health Retreat.
